Fran Black
Fran graduated from her Bachelor of Applied Science Physiotherapy degree in Melbourne in 1989 and since 2007 she has worked in the area of Hands, Burns and Plastics.
In 2007 she completed a master’s subject at University of Sydney “Therapy for Disorders of the Hand” and in 2013 she qualified as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and is a full member the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA).
Fran has a special interest in the assessment and treatment of Hands, wrists and elbows including:
- Splinting and bracing
- Scar management
- Overuse injuries
- Persistent pain
